Frequently Asked Questions

Respite care is essentially fill-in care for family caregivers. For instance, a retired husband and wife may live together, and the wife is responsible for helping with many daily needs. The wife must leave town for a few days for a graduation or a funeral, but such a journey would be too burdensome for the husband. That family would call Bludot to arrange respite care for the husband while the wife is away.
Bludot can staff a home on the same day in most cases and by the next day in ALL cases. This is a swift response to the need for private duty and the personal care industry.
You may have an unexpected need for service. You may have a very concerning change in your medical condition and want to discuss it with someone. Bludot answers the phone 24 hours per day, seven days per week. If you have a severe medical emergency requiring immediate attention, please contact 999.
